

1. What is a Diners Club Card?

The Diners Club Card is a charge card. This means that the Card requires a full monthly repayment of dues until the date specified on the statement, whereas with regular credit cards only the repayment of a minimum amount is required. Unlike debit cards, the Diners Club Card does not require any funds on your bank account as a security for transactions.
2. What are the criteria for obtaining a Diners Club Card?

The person applying for a Diners Club Card must be adult.
- The applicant’s minimum gross annual income should not be less than PLN 90,000.
- If you apply directly at the Diners Club Polska office, the application should be submitted with documents confirming the identity, employment and income of the applicant (the types of documents are specified in the application form).
- For cards issued in co-operation with a bank – there is no further verification from Diners Club, the Card is issued at the request of the bank.
3. What documents should I submit and how?

You should submit the completed application form with a copy of your ID document (ID card, passport or permanent residence card), a certificate of your average income for the last 3 months, a copy of your annual PIT tax return for the last year and bank account statements for the last 3 months to Diners Club Polska, ul. Senatorska 12, 00–082 Warsaw personally or by registered mail. Private Banking customers of partner banks (BPH, Kredyt Bank, PKO BP) may obtain information on how to apply for the Card from their advisors.
4. What are the fees and charges?

In addition to regular commissions on cash withdrawal and international transactions, the only fee connected with the issuance and use of the Card is the annual fee. The commissions are added to the transaction amounts and are shown as a total on the monthly statement. See: table of fees and charges.
5. What is the difference between the Card issued by Diners Club and the Card issued by a bank?

Cards issued both by Diners Club Polska and by a partner bank provide the Cardmembers with equal rights and benefits. Also, there is no difference in annual fees and charges. A Card issued by a bank is additionally branded with a bank logo on its face, next to the Diners Club logo.
